Penny Value
Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Effective date: 27 September 2026 · App: Penny Value (Android) · Publisher: Dahmani Limited (United Kingdom)

1. What Penny Value does

Penny Value helps you identify United States one-cent coins from photos and shows estimated values. Identification uses automated image analysis and can be wrong. Always check important coins yourself, and consider a professional grading service before you buy or sell.

2. Values are estimates, not offers

Values shown in the app are "Penny Value estimates": ranges we derive from public sale records and mintage data using our own method. They are not appraisals, not offers to buy or sell, and not financial advice. Actual prices depend on condition, authenticity and the market. Do not melt or deface US coins where the law forbids it.

3. Free scans and Pro

4. Acceptable use

Use the app to photograph coins. Do not upload photos of people or personal documents, try to bypass limits, reverse-engineer our server, or use the app to break the law.

5. Content and trademarks

The app, its catalogue and its text belong to Dahmani Limited or its licensors. Reference coin images are credited where required. US coin designs are in the public domain.

6. Availability and changes

We may change or stop features, the catalogue or prices. We will tell you in the app about material changes to these terms.

7. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Dahmani Limited is not liable for losses from relying on identifications or estimated values. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
